Software Control Strategy

Vehicles shall be in-use diesel vehicles registered on or after Jan 1, 2010, or off-road vehicles registered on or after Jan 1, 2007 that meet Off-road Stage III emission standard.China Stage III diesel vehicles equipped with electronically controlled high-pressure common rail or unit pump systems.Excluding vehicles subject to mandatory scrappage per national motor vehicle standards and hazardous goods vehicles.

Vehicle Operating Condition

Mileage less than 300,000 km for on-road vehicles or operating hours ＜2000 h for off-road equipment.Ratio of wheel power to rated power ≥50%.No water, oil or air leakage; vehicle operates without abnormality.

Vehicle Emission Requirements

No blue or white smoke under rapid acceleration/deceleration. Original certified emission level ≥ China Stage II or Off-road Stage I.For retrofit on-road vehicles: before adjustment, free acceleration opacity ≤ 2.0 m⁻¹; lug-down opacity ≤1.7 m⁻¹.For retrofitted off-road mobile machinery: no visible smoke (≤ Ringelmann Smoke Chart Level I). Under free loading (actual working condition), opacity measured by opacimeter ≤1.61 m⁻¹.For vehicles fitted with SCR: before adjustment, NOₓ emission ≤1000 ppm.

Engine Condition

No oil leakage upstream of turbocharger compressor.Engine idle speed ＜1000 rpm.Injection, intake and lubrication systems are maintained regularly per OEM specifications and function normally.No oil burning. Oil consumption is less than 0.25% of fuel consumption, max 800 g per 1000 km.

Fuel & Urea Requirements

Diesel fuel shall meet China Stage IV or higher standard (sulfur ≤50 ppm).Aqueous urea solution for SCR shall comply with GB29518-2013.
